A Matter of Taste

We all have a unique taste for how we flavor our life and deserve to be treated with respect regarding our choices.

Everyone would agree that relationships can be complicated. They are also socially criticized, educationally studied, emotionally evaluated and scientifically labeled. They are graded on the continuum of good to bad and we are forced to recognize where we are on the sliding scale. And yet, depending on the socially acceptable combination that compiles that relationship the criteria of good or bad is a moving target. For example...I have a relationship that includes love, devotion, interest, 
anticipation, appreciation, cultivation, and generosity.  All of those qualities are typically what indicates health and well-being.  In general, it is a gold star, A+ relationship.  At this moment you are thinking either, "How sweet! Isn't that lovely?" or "She is totally lying. No relationship is that positive." But if I were to tell you that in fact this relationship is not with my husband you would immediately re-evaluate those criteria as highly inappropriate.
