Missing Hille Student Found Again: School Official

Kyara Rush, 13, was found Sunday night, according to Hille's assistant principal, who received an email from the teen's mother.

A 13-year-old Midlothian girl who had gone missing last week—the second time in nearly two weeks—was found Sunday night, according to officials from Jack Hille Middle School, where the teen attended eighth grade.

In an email sent to Patch, Hille Assistant Principal John Orth said Kyara's mother, Jazz, notified him Monday afternoon that the girl had been found Sunday. Jazz Rush told Orth she had not yet been given all the details concerning how and where her daughter was found.

Kyara Rush was last seen Monday, May 27, near 60th Street and Halsted Street in Chicago. Her last day in eighth grade was Friday, May 31, and Hille's graduation ceremony is at 6 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Trinity Christian College.

The Chicago Police Department's 5th District was handling the case, and the police press office said the detective in charge of it would not be available until Tuesday, June 4.

Patch will continue to update this story.
