Oak Forest Farmers Market: What's on Your Shopping List This Year?
The annual summer event begins its second full year Tuesday. Which vendors are you hoping return?
The Oak Forest Park District's Farmers Market opens Tuesday for the first time this season in the south parking lot of the Central Park Building.
As an annual summer event, the market is still a new facet of the Oak Forest community. In fact, it's a bit of rebel compared to other farmers markets, which are held on weekends.
But like those traditional markets, the Oak Forest farmers market offers a variety of area vendors selling fresh vegetables and handmade arts and crafts items.
