Oak Forest Lotto Winner: "I Never Thought This Would Happen to Me!"
An Oak Forest woman was one of three Illinois residents to win the June 23 Lucky Day Lotto.
Oak Forest resident Therese Maske is no magician, but she recently turned $1 into $216,666.
The lucky lady was shocked to discover the $1 Quick Pick ticket she bought at Circle K, 5600 W. 159th St., was a perfect match of the June 23 Lucky Day Lotto evening drawing—02, 05, 17, 19, 30. She was one of three winners, who will now share the jackpot of $650,000, according to Illinois Lottery.
Maske has lived with her husband in Oak Forest for the past decade. She's mother to four and grandmother to seven.

“This lottery win is life-changing, it will make things easier for us,” Maske said. “And we might take a vacation next year to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary."
Oak Forest's Circle K will also get in on the winnings. They are due a $2,166 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The other two June 23 Lucky Day Lotto winners were from Roscoe and Morton Grove, respectively.
