ReplyHere/Here CCW - Yes both institutions do good things for the kids and the communities. They are good neighbors and they should be allowed to have the machines. Both places will keep the rift raft out and I am sure we will not have to worry about the drugs and such.

ReplyFor the last 5 - 8 years the professionalism of D122 board has been going down. We need to get a fresh board with level headed board members. Do not vote for the incumbents!!

I agree NLMom. We need to focus more on the students and fiduciary responsibilities. I would initially focus on what we are paying to administration personnel and see if this is truly what should be being paid out. That is not comparing to other districts that is evaluating what the Superintendent and his staff and what their responsibilities are and the value they bring to the district.

ReplyThe last time I ran for Park District Board my petitions were challenged and I bared the cost to fight the challenge. It was for re-election. I would think an appeal would not be any different.

I do not disagree with anything said. What's funny is they have the guts to stand up to Sass. Sass reports to the board and can be fired by the board. That is the tail wagging the dog!

Problem is there shouldn't be politics at this level of Government. Past boards have had difference but were kept in focus for whats best for the district. The last 6+ years this board has really deteriorated away from a good focus. I do not vote for any incumbents anymore.

Great suggestion. I have been working in Frankfort for almost a year and usually get gas in Frankfort.
