Happily married to a fantastic firefighter/paramedic; mama of three GREAT kids: a 5y/o son, a 4y/o daughter (adopted from Guatemala) & a 1y/o daughter (adopted [domestic, open] who was born w/Septo-Optic Dysplasia).

I'm a former college instructor turned SAHM; I've been an Oak Forest resident for most of my 30 years on this planet. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and experiences on motherhood, activities in and around the neighborhood, and life in general as a new Patch blogger.
