Oak Forest Juvenile Stops Underage Drinking Before it Starts

An Oak Forest man faces an ordinance violation after almost allowing approximately 20 juveniles to have an alcohol-fueled party in his home's detached garage Jan. 18. Jose M. Perez, 51, of the 15800 block of Leclaire Avenue, was cited by police for allowing underage drinking at this home. Police were called after a report, from another juvenile, of others throwing bottles out of the home's detached garage, according to the report. At the home, police found approximately 20 juveniles in the garage, with alcohol also inside. Police performed portable breath tests on the juveniles, but all came back negative for alcohol, according to officers.
