Last Chance for Fantasy Football 101 at the Library
The Acorn Public Library is hosting the first of two fantasy football classes on Thursday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. The class will focus on the basics of fantasy football.
Kickoff for the NFL regular season is merely weeks away and fans are certainly ready to welcome the league back with open arms. With the NFL back, that also means it's time for fantasy football. Fantasy football has soared in popularity over the years and the Acorn Public Library took note. This year, the library will be offering two fantasy football classes, for owners to prep their draft strategies, team names and more. The first class, Fantasy Football 101, will take place Thursday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. and will focus on learning the basic rules of the game, team management and basic techniques. The class is free to attend. As part of its fantasy football fun, the library is also hosting a fantasy football league that patrons can join. …
