Last Chance to Meet the Easter Bunny

Acorn Public Library will welcome the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 7 for a fun and games.

If you've missed out on other chances to catch your furry friend, the Easter Bunny is making an early stop at the Acorn Public Library on Saturday, April 7. The bunny will be there for a party featuring face painting and Easter treats for everyone in attendance. Anyone who plans on attending should stop by the library and sign up at the youth services desk before the big event. For more information about the event, call (708) 687-3700. Last Chance to Help Out Gingerwood Pool with Kenootz Fundraiser

...the last time this month, that is. Kenootz will offer the fundraiser the last Tuesday of every month—but why not make Tuesday night a Kenootz night?

Winter takes a toll on Gingerwood Pool. Before the pool can open for the summer, necessary repairs must be made. Patching cracks, painting the pool and maintaining the deck area can be costly. If you plan to cool off at Gingerwood this summer, Pool President Gail Werr is hoping you'll help out by buying Tuesday night's dinner from Kenootz Pizzeria in Midlothian. Tuesday night only, 25 percent of all orders (dine-in or carryout) will go to Gingerwood Pool—just say the word. Call 708-535-0005 to place your order. I agree, the pool is not "creepy", It's a very nice, well maintained pool, that is great for adults and kids. I would much rather bring my kids here then a large pool where they could get lost and my kids love it.   more ›
