If you've missed out on other chances to catch your furry friend, the Easter Bunny is making an early stop at the Acorn Public Library on Saturday, April 7. The bunny will be there for a party featuring face painting and Easter treats for everyone in attendance. Winter takes a toll on Gingerwood Pool. Before the pool can open for the summer, necessary repairs must be made. Patching cracks, painting the pool and maintaining the deck area can be costly. If you plan to cool off at Gingerwood this summer, Pool President Gail Werr is hoping you'll help out by buying Tuesday night's dinner from Kenootz Pizzeria in Midlothian. I agree, the pool is not "creepy", It's a very nice, well maintained pool, that is great for adults and kids. I would much rather bring my kids here then a large pool where they could get lost and my kids love it. more ›
