While most people think of Clark Griswold when they think of Christmas, I picture the tinsel-doused tree of one Ralphie Parker, à la "A Christmas Story." Wedged into the Parkers' living room and aglow with enough bulbs to light a small stadium, the tree shorts out the room's circuit. The tree in my parents' house tops off at 9 feet of sparkly magic. I have no tree in my apartment, so I rely on theirs to keep me in tune with the Christmas spirit. And now I'll turn to you for inspiration, Oak Forest.
