A car burglary suspect led police on a brief chase on 159th Street before driving his car into Cindy's Pub's parking lot and flipping it over the guardrail and down a 30-foot embankment. The suspect then exited the car and escaped police on foot.
Oak Forest police were led on a brief car chase down 159th Street and through a local pub's parking lot, before a car burglary suspect flipped his car over a guardrail, down a 30-foot embankment and escaped on foot Jan. 14. While on patrol in the 6100 block of 159th Street Monday night, police noted a suspicious subject standing next to a vehicle in the Oliver's Bar and Grill parking lot, the scene of several car burglaries in recent months. Officers pulled into the lot and noted a car exit and drive down 159th Street at a high rate of speed.
