Lemont needed a victory to take the crown; a loss would have meant a three-way tie with Oak Forest and Tinley Park. After sharing the title with Oak Forest last year and repeatedly finishing second in years past, the Indians finally came out on top with a 1-0 win Thursday—ending the Bengals' eight-year reign as conference champions. An Oak Forest teen was arrested Thursday on an aggravated driving under the influence charge in connection to a late March crash that paralyzed another driver, Sun-Times Media reports. Actor Vince Rossi, 22, is part of the cast of "Gay Men Will Marry Your Girlfriends," (editor's note: this video is NSFW for language and content) a comedy short from the College Humor website. Oak Forest High School came in first place, and Tinley Park High School placed second in their region for their efforts as part of the state's Operation Teen Safe Driving initiative.
Oak Forest and Tinley Park high schools earned first and second place, respectively, in their region for their 2012-13 Operation Teen Safe Driving programs, according to an Illinois Department of Transportation press release. This is the fifth consecutive year Oak Forest has won first-place honors in the program, which is in its sixth year, according to a release from Bremen School District 228.
