Lost Dog: Frankie Has Been Found (Update)
Frankie, an older tan-and-white Border Collie mix with bad arthritis, went missing Friday afternoon, in Tinley Park. Thankfully, his owners found him Saturday morning at the PAWS Animal Shelter on 191st Street.
UPDATED (10:33 a.m. April 6): Kim Melnik emailed Saturday morning to say that Frankie was found at the PAWS Animal Shelter in Tinley Park. "We are all very happy and thankful," she wrote. This is the best news I have heard! I was at our vet's office on Friday when someone called asking about possible places to call, to look for a lost dog. That lost dog had to be Frankie! The receptionist said Frankie was a 12 year old border collie mix and was deaf. I was so saddened to hear that news of a lost dog.
