Get in the Holiday Spirit at Oak Forest's Parade and Tree Lighting

Santa Claus is comin' to town—Dec. 8, to be exact. Oak Forest residents are invited to join Mayor Hank Kuspa and Santa Claus as they ring in the holiday season at the annual tree lighting ceremony and parade on Saturday, December 8. The parade kicks off at Oak Forest High School at 11 a.m. and will proceed down Central Avenue to City Hall where the tree lighting ceremony will take place. The top three trees and three honorable mentions from the trim-a-tree contest will be announced after the tree lighting. Afterward, everyone is invited to Fire Station 1 to visit with Santa and enjoy light refreshments.
