People from across the Chicago area came out en masse for Oak Fest 2011, last night from 6 p.m. to midnight. They lined up 15–20 deep at the ticket booths just to spin, dip and drop on their favorite rides. All the while, kids tried their luck pitching baseballs at targets to win inflatable bats or fishing for ducks to win stuffed bananas with dreadlocks.
