The City of Oak Forest is in the process of buying the property, also known as the Numero Uno site, on Cicero Avenue.
Whether you know it as the former Chicago House of Brews or the old Numero Uno site, the building at 15426 Cicero Ave. stands empty and waiting for a new occupant to bring it back to life. The City of Oak Forest is still in the process of buying the property at 15426 S. Cicero Ave. Officials intend to sell the property as part of an effort to reinvest in the community. Until recently, a sign out front read "Bank Owned Property" and listed contact information for interested buyers. The area gets plenty of traffic and might be ideal for another restaurant or bar.
