Softball: Oak Forest Shut Out by Tinley Despite Larsen's 1-Hitter

Senior pitcher Emily Larsen pitched a gem of a game Saturday, but Tinley Park was able to slip by the Bengals, 1-0. The loss eliminates the Bengals from the postseason.

Softball: Lemont Blanks Oak Forest to Clinch Conference Title

Senior Carly Jaworski allowed two hits and struck out five in Lemont's 1-0 win over South Suburban Blue rival Oak Forest.

The score: Lemont 1, Oak Forest 0 The way it happened: The South Suburban Blue conference title was on the line Thursday as Lemont took on rival Oak Forest. After sharing the title with Oak Forest last year and repeatedly finishing second in years past, the Indians finally came out on top with a 1-0 win Thursday—ending the Bengals' eight-year reign as conference champions. Lemont improved to 21-5 on the season and 17-2 in conference play. The Bengals slipped to 20-14 overall and 15-4 in South Suburban Blue. Senior Carly Jarowski (9-5) led the Indians on the mound, allowing only two hits and tallying five strikeouts. She went …

I've gone so far.” Jamie is an avid runner as well. He is on a streak of running at least a mile a day himself, only his streak goes back for about the last 21 years. Jamie has run the First Midwest Half Marathon almost every year since it began. He runs while pushing his…

Just let Fred and Sandy voice their thoughts and opinions and just smile and keep doing what you're doing, if it's working for you and bringing you joy. Good job Parks family, I am inspired by you all whether you run every day or not!!   more ›
