The Consolidated High School District 230 oversees the policies and management of Carl Sandburg, Amos Alonzo Stagg…More and Victor J. Andrew High Schools. The three schools are attended by students living in Oak Forest, Orland Park, Orland Hills, Tinley Park, Willow Springs, Bridgeview and Worth, as well as Palos Park, Hills and Heights.
District 230 is managed by a superintendent and three assistant superintendents, as well as a board of directors.
While today the district serves about 73 square miles of towns and villages, it began with in 1919 with University of Chicago graduate Miss Dorothy Emily Davis. She created the first Orland High School, with one 13-student class who met in one room on the second floor of Orland Park's Old Village Hall.
