As the district offices for Oak Forest High School and three other area high schools, Bremen High School District…More 228 is located next to Bremen High School in Midlothian. It has more than 5,000 students from Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Midlothian, Country Club Hills, Hazel Crest, Markham and Posen. Dr. Bill Kendall is the superintendent.</p> <p>The seven-member board meets at 7pm on the third Tuesday of each month, with locations alternating between the four District 228 schools.</p>

This non-demoninational Christian community was founded in 1988, and is currently going strong, with 400 members.…More Under the leadership of Pastor Robert Crain, Grace Fellowship offers youth programs, music ministry, women's and men's ministries, as well as programs for seniors.</p> <p>The church offers the children's program Awana for members aged kindergarten through eighth grade. Participants memorize Scripture verses, play games and hear passages from the Bible. For high school students, the church offers the Crosstrainers program, which focuses on spiritual education and service opportunites.</p> <p>Women's groups include a Bible study group, in addition to the Women of Grace group.
