A Ford SUV ran into the back of a dump truck on I-80 around 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The Illinois State Police and Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed at least one person died in the crash.
The Oak Forest Police Department will start a 'Lock it or Lose it,' campaign Monday, April 1, reminding residents to properly secure their vehicles and store valuables out of sight in their car.
A 15-year-old Oak Forest resident was cited for causing an accident at the intersection of 167th Street and Cicero Avenue Thursday night. No injuries were reported.
