Located just across from the Oak Forest Park District on Central Avenue, the Acorn Public Library serves residents of Oak Forest, Crestwood, Midlothian, Tinley Park and Country Club Hills. The facility offers both youth and adult programs, including storytimes, family game nights and adult literacy programs. Other program offerings include muse groups for the aspiring writer, book discussion groups for the avid reader and quilting groups for the craftier residents. The library also contains magnification software for sight-impaired community members.
