Parade Kicks Off Tinley Park High School's Homecoming Weekend


Tinley Park High School celebrates its Homecoming with a parade that starts at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Tinley Park Historical Society. The Titans play Evergreen Park at 7 p.m. Friday.

When: 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20
Where: The route begins at the Tinley Park Historical Society at 174th Street and moves south to 175th Street.

  • The Musical Flea Market—Trifles and Treasures From Our Melodious Past: Guitarist Ray Kamalay performs a selection of music that runs the gamut from Delta blues to J. S. Bach, ragtime to Renaissance, and Irish to Brazilian. This musical presentation is from 2 to 4 p.m. at Acorn Public Library. Find out more details.

GAA Football Finals: 
Don't miss any of the action of these Irish soccer matches. Mayo vs. Tyrone starts at 7:15 a.m., and Dublin vs. Mayo is at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $20, and an Irish breakfast will be served in between matches. Find out more details
