Celebrate Irish Heritage and Harvest Day at Gaelic Park


Horse jumping, milk churning and Irish music and dancing are just some of the activities that will be a part of the Irish Heritage and Harvest Day at Chicago Gaelic Park. Plus, don't forget about the straw pillow fight.

  • Girl Scout Troop 60824 Yard Sale: The troop will be holding a nine-family yard sale as a way to hone the girls' skills in fundraising and money management. The sale starts at 9 a.m. at 151st Street and Central Avenue. Find out more details.    
  • The Lyceum Conversation Group: The Lyceum is a conversation group that lets participants discuss social, political, cultural and economic topics through logical analysis. The first conversation will be on the uses and benefits of philosophy in contemporary society. The group's first meeting is at 2:30 p.m. at the Acorn Public Library. Find out more details.
