How To Post Your Garage Sale on Patch!
Follow these step-by-step instructions to using Oak Forest Patch's Events section for your yard or garage sales.
Summer is a time for a break from school, vacations in the family car and, of course, selling off your stuff.
Patch provides just the right forum for letting the community know about what you have going on.
Posting your garage sale (or any event) on the site is easy and free!
Find out what's happening in Oak Forestwith free, real-time updates from Patch.
STEP 1: Go to the Events tab. You'll see upcoming featured events, as well as a big button to the left that reads "Add an Event."
STEP 2: After you click "Add an Event," you'll see the blank page where you can fill out whatever information you have about the garage sale. Uploading a picture only takes a couple of second and makes the event pop on the calendar.

STEP 3: Hit "Post My Event" and it'll appear on the site!
You can even upload pictures of the items you're selling.
