Katie Swanson took center stage on the cold field of Oak Forest, scoring two goals in the Bengals' recent 3-1 girls soccer victory over Richards.

The Bengals and Swanson built a 1-0 halftime lead. But it wasn't until the sun set and the temperature dropped that Oak Forest warmed up, adding another two goals, one by Swanson and one by Colleen Emmett, to ice the chilly win.
