With its ace pitcher on the mound, picked up its first baseball victory of the season on Wednesday.

Junior Kyle Funkhouser held in check over six innings and the Bengals were opportunistic with the bat in a 6-0 victory at Andrew Field.

Funkhouser allowed only one hit and one walk before Arthur Johnson came on in relief for the final inning. Funkhouser, a Louisville recruit, took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before a two-out Andrew single broke it up.
