Sports Photo Gallery: Oak Forest Goes on a Power Play

Bengals combine offensive fireworks with dominant pitching in recent 14-1 softball victory over rival Oak Lawn.

From the outset, Oak Forest had Oak Lawn pitcher Nicole Jurgensen’s number. The Bengals' first three batters reached base and scored as Oak Forest ran away with a 14-1 softball victory in five innings when the two met on Monday, April 11.

Oak Forest hit the ball all over the diamond--and over the fence, too. The Bengals' offense was led by Emily Naegele and Felicia Turk. Both connected for two-run homers.

Oak Forest scored at least two runs in each of the team’s four innings at bat.
