Oak Forest scored two goals in a second-half explosiong and then held on to gain a 2-2 tie in a recent girls soccer matchup vs. Mother McAuley.

On a day with record-setting heat of 90 degrees, the Oak Forest girls soccer team was cooking.

The Bengals scored two goals within minutes of each other at the start of the second half to build a 2-0 lead over Mother McAuley when the two met in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, May 10.

Katie Swanson and Jaclyn Hoffmeister connected for the Bengals.

But the Mighty Macs rallied to score two goals of their own and gain a 2-2 tie as both teams battled the intense heat, say nothing of battling each other.
