Bengals 10th in Southland Preseason Football Rankings
The Oak Forest Bengals start their football season tonight with a No. 10 ranking, along with several other Southland teams cracking the Top 10, according to a Sun-Times Media report.
Following a banner year that saw the Bengals advance to the second round of the IHSA playoffs and an offseason spent in the weightroom, the Bengals cracked the Top 10 preseason rankings by The SouthtownStar, according to a Sun-Times Media report.
Bengals' fans were buzzing when the news hit the web, taking to the Oak Forest Bengals Fan page to discuss the news.
The Bengals were joined by other teams in the Southland coverage area. The Top 10 also included Homewood-Flossmoor at No. 9, Richards at 7, Crete Monee at No. 5 and Marist at No. 1.
