CNB Bank & Trust to Launch Palos Heights Location

The location is set to open later this month, at 127th and Ridgeland Avenue.

CNB Bank & Trust this month will swing open the doors of a new location, at 12727 S. Ridgeland Ave. in Palos Heights.

Palos Heights Mayor Bob Straz will lead the 3,000-square-foot, full-service branch as Market President, alongside Vice President Greg Paetow and Assistant Vice President.

Straz brings years of banking experience in the area, said Andrew Tinberg, Regional President of CNB. He has also shown his commitment to the Palos area with his involvement in the Sertoma Centre, Rotary, and Saint Alexander Parish, among other organizations.

“The opportunity to open a new facility was finalized when CNB was able to hire Bob Straz as Market President," Tinberg said in an earlier announcement.

CNB began its expansion into Chicagoland after an apparent downturn in smaller, community banks, Tinberg said.

"We saw an opportunity to bring community banking bank," he added. "We're the 'small community bank that could.'"

The Palos Heights location is set in a strip mall near Palos Prime Meats. It offers a full-service drive-thru, in addition to a 24-hour ATM.

The branch is the bank's 13th. Others include: Alton, Brighton, Carlinville, Carrollton, Clayton-MO, Hillsboro, Jacksonville, Jerseyville, Oak Forest, Pittsfield, Shipman, and Taylorville.

CNB offers a variety of traditional banking services, including numerous deposit accounts, along with commercial and consumer loans.
