Oak Forest rolled to a 49-0 victory over Hillcrest on Friday, celebrating Senior Night in high style. The win pushed the Bengals' record to 6-2.

Call it the changing of the guard.

On Senior Night, a sophomore running back did much of the damage in Oak Forest's 49-0 football victory over Hillcrest Friday, Oct. 14. Sophomore Matt Barry rushed for more than 100 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground as the Bengals pushed their record to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the South Suburban Blue.

Barry also caught a 54-yard touchdown pass from Tom Zale. Zale completed 4-of-7 for 95 yards. He added two rushing touchdowns (20 and 18 yards). And the Oak Forest defense dominated from the get-go, pitching a three-and-out on the first series to set the tone for the Bengals to celebrate Senior Night in high style.

Oak Forest concludes regular-season play with a matchup vs. Lemont on Friday night in Lemont. The Indians are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the South Suburban Blue. They've already clinched the conference championship.

Both teams will use the game as a measuring stick to see where they stand heading into the IHSA state playoffs.
