The Oak Forest High School Wall of Fame is ready to welcome its two newest members on Thursday, Sept. 20. Oak Forest graduates Tom Inczauskis, class of 1987, and Karen Stack Umlauf, class of 1979, earned the honor thanks to their outstanding careers in their chosen fields.

“This is for notable alumni or community members," said Oak Forest Associate Principal Dan Dunne. "We've had some parents and things like that in. We have two categories, an alumni category and a community category. ... It's mostly alumni, but other community members can get it."

Dunne said that the wall currently holds about 20–25 names, with two members inducted each year.

Inczauskis is currently the head women's golf coach at Methodist University in North Carolina. He was a two-sport athlete at Oak Forest High School, earning All-Conference honors his senior year in golf. Inczauskis is a graduate of the PGA Golf Professional Training Program, a PGA certified instructor, and a member of the PGA President’s Council for Growing the Game of Golf. Tom earned his Master of Business Administration from Methodist University, after obtaining his bachelor's degree from Governors State University.

Umlauf currently serves as the Director of Basketball Administration for the Chicago Bulls, with whom she has worked for the past 27 years. At Oak Forest, Umlauf led the lady Bengals to the state final four, earning second-team All-State honors. She played professional basketball in France, founded the Chicago Challengers, and served as television analyst for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and the Chicago Sky.

The two will be inducted into the Oak Forest Wall of Fame on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Oak Forest High School at 2:40 p.m.

I dare anyone to name a more dangerous intersection then that. The turn from 147th st west bound toRead More southbound Oak Park is the worst I've seen.
