Hille Seventh Graders Join Forces with Oak Forest Fire Department to Learn First Aid

Oak Forest firefighters showed students some basic First Aid tips and skills.

Jack Hille Middle School students have spent four days in the last two weeks with the Oak Forest Fire Department, learning First Aid.  Lieutenants and firefighters demonstrated how to handle life-threatening situations.

The students really enjoyed their experience while learning about first aid.

“I really had fun and I learned a lot,” said Maura Julian, a seventh-grade student at Hille.  Lauren McKernin followed, “I really had fun, and when I grow up I want to go to college to be a nurse.”
