“We're each going to take about 15 minutes each and kind of trade off on going over a few things,” Schanz said. “It's more for the community and our lower level, junior high and elementary school coaches and players.”

Schanz said that the idea for the clinic stemmed from the two coach's experiences at various college level clinics they regularly attend.

“We've gone to a bunch, where college coaches do it and so we thought, 'Why don't we try this as well,'” he said. “Hopefully it turns out well.”

All players, coaches and parents in Oak Forest are invited to attend the clinic, Schanz said. He added that although they don't know what the turn out will be, he said they were hopeful for a good turnout.

“We really don't know what to expect,” he said. “We sent out fliers to all the junior highs and stuff like that, so we're hopeful for a good turnout.”
