SSC's Business & Career Institute to Offer “Rapid-Fire Start Business Planning”

The Business & Career Institute of South Suburban College will host a four-week workshop series titled “Rapid-Fire Start Business Planning,” facilitated by Brian Thompson, president of Black & Essington Solutions LLC, on Thursdays Sept. 22, Oct. 6, Oct. 20 and Nov. 3, from 6-8 p.m.

The workshops will all be held at the Business & Career Institute in South Holland.

Rapid-Fire Start Business Planning is an interactive workshop series aimed at providing business owners with the skills and tools necessary to start and grow their business. 

The series will focus on business planning and strategy, marketing and sales, financing, and general management practices.  Participants will improve operating and communication skills each week through engaging lectures by guest speakers, business case discussions, and individualized assignments.

The cost is $40 per session or $130 for the entire series. Payment must be made by Sept. 19.
