SSC to Offer Summer Math Program to High School Students

South Suburban College is inviting parents of high school juniors who want to get their kids an academic head start on college to an informational session about the Summer Math Program on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kindig Performing Arts Center at the main campus in South Holland.

The free program will run from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays through Thursdays for eight weeks during the summer. The students will be provided a variety of services including: Developmental coursework in math; testing and re-testing of identified skill weaknesses to demonstrate mastery; study skills and tutoring; counselor interventions at the high school and at SSC; career pathway assistance.
