"Planning & Facilitating Effective Meetings" Coming in January

The Business & Career Institute of South Suburban College will host another course in their Breakfast with BCI Workshop Series titled "Planning & Facilitating Effective Meetings" presented by Alexandra Glumac, Workforce Development Specialist.

This workshop will take place on Thursday, Jan. 20, in the Heritage Room at college's Main Campus in South Holland.  Check-in will begin at 8:15 a.m. with the workshop to follow from 8:30-10 a.m.

For many organizations, meetings are a way of life.  Oftentimes, meetings are perceived as the number one contributor to inefficient use of time.  However, meetings that are well-run, have an agenda and close with action items can be very worthwhile.  This workshop will address necessary steps for planning a productive meeting, specific facilitation techniques as well as important process tools for decision making.  Learn how to plan and execute meetings that generate commitment and a feeling of accomplishment from participants.

The cost for "Planning & Facilitating Effective Meetings" is $15 per person, or $10 per person if three or more individuals from the same company attend.

Advanced Registration is required.

For more information or to register, call (708) 596-2000, ext. 2346 or e-mail AGlumac@ssc.edu.  South Suburban College is located at 15800 S. State St., South Holland.
