I'd be smiling too with a huge pension....Soon we the homeowner will be paying for these pensions through our property taxes...We need to cut down on all these school districts ,administrators and high price Superintendents. Why do we need so many? How about outsourcing them to India where our jobs have gone!!!!

Roger You are right about needing to cut down on the number of school administrators. Years ago school administrators were 30% of the school staff, but in 2006 administrators had grown to 49% of school staff (according to Department of Education statistics cited by the Heritage Foundation. ). It reminds me of that old saying: To many chiefs and not enough Indians. You can check out teacher pay & pension calculator at this site: http://www.familytaxpayers.org/
