Oak Forest High School senior Kendra Sowa wasn't always the type to step into a lead role with the school's Madrigals—now she's taking the lead, and is the star of a Sun-Times Media story.

But it took some time for senior Kendra Sowa to feel comfortable with her talents and come out of her shell.
Now, nothing can stop her. Sowa has her hand in the drama club, Madrigals, speech team, group interpretation, art club, ecology club, contest play and Harmoni, a female a cappella group.
