Voter Registration Deadline Looms

Residents who wish to vote in the April 5 election must register by Tuesday, March 8.

The deadline to register to vote in the April 5 Consolidated Election is March 8. Residents can register in person at , during normal business hours.

To register you must be a U.S. citizen, be 18 years old by election day and a resident of your precinct for at least 30 days prior to the election. Registration applications for suburban Cook County can be printed in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Polish. Grace period registration will be available from March 9 to March 29 at the Markham Courthouse or at the County Clerk's office, 69 W. Washington, fifth floor, in Chicago.
