Stone Mountain City Council to Hold Called Meeting, Budget Hearing

On the agenda for Monday night's called meeting are personnel matters.

The Stone Mountain city council will hold a public hearing on the city's proposed 2013 budget, along with an executive session, a special called meeting and its regularly scheduled work session.

Personnel issues are on the meeting agenda, as is an intrafund transfer. At its last regular meeting, the council suspended City Manager Barry Amos. He was replaced by Gary Peet, a former Stone Mountain mayor.

City officials and council members weren't immediately available for comment on tonight's sessions.

Does all of this begin at 6:00 or are they holding the special call sessions earlier?

Here's what I believe is the schedule: executive session starts at 6, followed by the public hearing and the special session. The work session will probably be last. But I could be wrong and I'll let you know if I find out more. All three agendas for tonight have 6 pm as the starting time.
