Nominate Someone for the Forest In Bloom Awards
The awards honors those who keep up quality landscaping.
Do you know a family or business that goes the extra mile in keeping their property beautiful?
The is now accepting applications for the Forest in Bloom Awards. They are presented every year to residents, businesses and organizations in the city who show a pride through quality landscaping.
All in Oak Forest are eligible to nominate themselves or others. Applications are due July 1. They are available at City Hall or on the City's website.

A committee of seven judges, each one from a different ward, will pick the winners. Judges consider how well the landscape goes with the look of the property and how well it's maintained. Creativity is a plus.
Nominees must earn 25 points to get the Forest in Bloom Award. Winners will know they won in August. They also will be posted on at www.oak-forest.org and will receive an award sign to display in their yards.
