Incumbents Keep D142 Seats; D144 Turns Into Tight Race

Voters elected Nancy Hullinger to the Forest Ridge board along with the three members up for re-election. Gregory Jackson and Elaine Walker won their re-election bids, but the race for the final seat was still too close to call.

It was a good night for the incumbents running for re-election to the boards of education for Forest Ridge Elementary School District 142 and Prairie-Hills School District 144.

Current Board Vice President John Doolin and board members Joseph Bittner and Gerard Curran retained their seats on the D142 board Tuesday. They will be joined by Nancy Hullinger, who was the second leading vote-getter.
