No Headlights, But She Had a Warrant

Cindy Castro, 25, of the 15900 block o S. Sawyer Avenue, Markham, was charged with driving while license suspended, unlawful use of a driver's license and cited for driving without headlights, following an incident in the 14800 block of S. Pulaski Road.

Police originally stopped Castro for driving without headlamps on. During the stop, police found Castro's license to be suspended for a failure to appear in court.

She was taken into custody and transported to the police station, where she was processed and released on bond, pending an April 5 court date.

Harvey Cops Turn Over Wanted Man

Nicholas C. Virgil, 26, of the 9800 block of S. Aberdeen Street, Chicago, was taken into custody on a traffic warrant, after he was stopped by Harvey police.

Midlothian officers took Virgil into custody and gave him a court date of April 5. He was placed in a holding cell to await a bond hearing after being unable to post bond.

TUESDAY, FEB. 12

Speeding on a Suspended License

Tephanie B. Brown, 36, of the 1300 block of Park Avenue, Ford Heights, was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding, following an incident in the 14500 block of S. Cicero Avenue.

Police clocked Brown driving 53 mph in a 35 mph zone and pulled her over. During the stop, police checked Brown's license, which was suspended June 6 of last year.

Brown was taken into custody and transported to the Midlothian Police Department, where she was processed and bonded out. She is scheduled to appear in court on March. 19.
