Tinley Park High School Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault of Student
Ryan Dolan, 29, of Tinley Park, is being held pending formal charges Monday afternoon.
Tinley Park High School teacher and coach Ryan Dolan has been charged with sexually assaulting a student, Tinley Park Police Chief Steve Neubauer said Monday.
Dolan, 29, of Tinley Park was arrested Saturday and faces one count of criminal sexual assault against a student. He is scheduled to appear in bond court in Joliet Monday afternoon.
An element of the charge of criminal sexual assault includes consideration that the suspect holds a position of trust, authority and supervision over the victim, police said. Dolan coached freshman football, varsity wrestling, and sophomore softball, said Lori DeVos, Community Relations Coordinator for District 228.

Superintendent Bill Kendall is expected to issue a statement around 3 p.m.
