With 30 calls, thefts accounted for nearly half—49 percent—of the city's calls for service in the month of December. Of the 30 calls, .

Criminal Damage

Police responded to 12 calls of criminal damage within city limits, making it the second most commonly reported occurrence in the month of December. The 12 calls accounted for 20 percent of the city's overall 61.

Ward with the Most Calls for Service

Wards and tie for the most calls for service within the month of December, accounting for roughly 25 percent of the city's total calls. 

Wards 2 and 3 have the highest population of commercial businesses and are most commonly targeted by thieves, according to Crime Prevention Committee Chairman Dennis Mitzner.
