Suspicious Man Approaches Hille Middle School Student

Forest Ridge District 142 officials are on alert after a student said a strange man approached her as she walked to school.

officials warned parents that a student reported being approached by a suspicious vehicle Thursday morning.

An older, Caucasian male in a grey compact four-door car approached the student near 155th and Betty Ann Lane, around 7:25 a.m. The man, who is described as having short brownish-blond hair, balding on the top, pointed at the student and motioned for her to come closer, according to the letter. The student noted "6034" as the first four digits of the license plate and ran home.
