Cops Didn’t Like His Tattoo

April 6: A man charged with possession of a controlled substance accused cops of arresting him because they were prejudiced of his tattoo. Police responded to a disturbance call at the Speedway station at 9800 S. Cicreo Ave. around 8:37 a.m. The 22-year-old caller said he wanted to sign a complaint for disorderly conduct after a man identified as Richard Arellano, 22, of Orland Hills, reportedly yelled “Cobra Love” and threw rocks at his car.

Arellano was taken into custody and brought to the Oak Lawn police station. While searching Arellano’s backpack, police said they found 69 pills of generic Xanax in a non-prescription bottle.

When Arellano was put into jail, he allegedly complained that officers were “prejudiced” against him because of the “F--- da Police” tattoo on his neck. Police said that Arellano also threatened to kill an Oak Lawn police officer while in custody.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Arellano appeared in court at 26th and California the next day, where bail was set at $30,000.
