Prostitution Charges Filed After Police Investigate Local Spa

A Grant Park woman was charged after Cook County Sheriff's police, working with the Oak Forest Police Department, sent an undercover officer in as part of the investigation.

A Grant Park woman faces prostitution charges after an undercover officer investigated an Oak Forest spa.

Shi Jianrong, 52, of 209 S. Main St. in Grant Park, is charged with two counts of prostitution, according to a police report.

On May 17, two worked with a Cook County Sheriff’s police in an investigation of Reflexology Massage and Spa, located at 15159 S. Cicero. At about 7:30 p.m., one officer surveilled the business while another working undercover completed a transaction with Jianrong.

Officers then arrested Jianrong and found an expired Oak Forest business license hanging on the wall.

Cook County Sheriff’s police took Jianron into custody and transported her to the Markham Courthouse.

The investigation had started in early April.
