From Aug. 19 to Sept. 5, the Oak Forest Police Department will conduct a citywide traffic enforcement campaign focusing on occupant restraint violations, impaired driving, and speeding.

“Our goal is to encourage people to buckle up so that we can keep them safe on our roads, especially during the Labor Day weekend,” said Lieutenant Michael Shaughnessy. “Parents in particular should make sure their children are properly secured in approved child safety seats.”
